Holly Beals is a California Central Coast artist, where she lives with her husband and their two energetic boys. Her paintings of people and places reflect simple, everyday moments, as she gathers inspiration from the beauty in her own backyard. Primarily working in acrylic, Holly loves to explore elements of texture, contrast and repetition, especially through the use of mark-making, collage and color theory. With her first book in the works, Holly is always up for conversations about faith and creativity. Her deeply held conviction is that the most creative parts of us exist because we are made in the image of a loving and creative God – the ultimate artist.
