Having the opportunity to travel to Madagascar this past May was such an incredible experience. Although the journey was long, and not without its challenges, the people we met touched my heart in some deep ways. I’m forever changed by the true stories of transformation shared, the joy in their smiles, the sweetness in their songs and the warmest of welcomes they extended.
I thought it would be fun to share the photos referenced in the making of these paintings. Some were taken by me, a passenger with the windows down –– sights and sounds of Diego, Madagascar tumbling through. My camera was, mostly, at the ready. And some were taken by my sister. Thank you, Candace Clark for blessing us with your photography talents on this trip!

I really like the paintings. I think it really helps to show the Painting next to the photo, it really demonstrates you talent and eye for design! Proud of you!
So blessed!
Awe, it’s fun to see the painting with the photo, right?! Thank you for the opportunity of a lifetime 😉
