Writing A Book For Creatives

"Excuse me?" I inquired to a lovely, young gal cleaning up around the front counter. "I'm writing a book. Could you take a picture of me writing it? In your cute coffee shop?"

She gave me a good natured laugh and even captured multiple angles without me asking. I wish I had caught her name. What do you think? Can't you tell that I'm deep into writing, perched in front of that snazzy teal wall?

The dream to write a book started a little over 12 years ago. But life transitions happened and the dream was shelved. Fast forward to about a year ago. Although so much life has happened and my ideas about what to write are very different, the dream came flooding back.

It's a book about faith and creativity, two of my favorite topics. An outline has been written, along with bits and pieces. I still have so far to go, but I'm white knuckling it and excited to share more with you as this project unfolds.

In the meantime, I’ll be blogging over here, and continuing to share pretty paint colors + artwork!
